A friend has a Acer computer running Vista Home Premium. He claims that the computer will not allow him to open more then 8 or so programs at one time. He will have IE, Word, Outlook, etc open and try to open another program and it simply does not open.
He thinks it happens when his computer uses >50% of the RAM. I checked the control panel for any option relating to this issue (besides the "visual options") but I am at a loss. Anyone have any ideas? Is there some setting that can be edited?
