Vista not shutting down

I have a Vista64 install that had been shutting down fine but over the weekend I broke the old RAID0 array that I haven't been using but left one of the disks in for a swap drive. I also pulled a broken IDE DVDRW out and replaced it with a SATA DVDRW. Now my computer wont't shutdown.

I just tried shutting down with the SATA DVD drive power cable unplugged but that didn't help. I don't see any errors in the event log.

It just sits at the "Shutting Down" screen.

Any ideas?

Vista will reboot but not shutdown. I tried reinstalling the Nforce4 drivers but that didn't help but now whenever I try burning to the SATA DVDRW my machine locksup.
