Vista Network Question

I have two PC's linked together through a router on a home network. The newest PC was Vista ready and I got the Vista Home Premium upgrade disc. The other PC has XP Home edition. If I do the Vista upgrade will I have problems because the other PC is still XP? I have heard that Microsoft is coming out with a fix for this, is that true?

Sincerely,
Hans

I have no idea what fd is talking about - I share (flawlessly) between xp and vista and 2003 all the time.

Maybe (?) he is talking about... Microsoft Office 2007's new file formats...?

Otherwise, yeah, Vista/XP network perfectly.

It's full speed ahead and see what happens. I have all updates on both PC's so I guess I should be OK. This is a Presario by Compaq and I got two discs. One is the HP Upgrade Assistant and it says to make sure you run that first before putting in the Vista disc. Thanks for your help, I appreciate it very much.

Sincerely,
Hans
