Uh, i suspect i know the answer to this, but for some damned reason vista x64 is moving my programs, regardless of 64 or x86, to a separate x86 program files. if i rename it to just program files, ill be screwed because of install paths, right?

64-bit Vista should already have a C:\Program Files directory. If you want stuff installed there instead of in the other directory, you should be able to force the issue by manually specifying the installation directory. For example, if I want to install Office 2007 to C:\Program Files\Office2007, I can use the Custom setup option and say so.

But yeah, moving stuff by hand after installation is going to cause trouble.

yep, i saw the other folder, but stupid me thought that itd install the different programs (by diff. i mean x86 and x64) into their respective program files folder since it specified in the first place....guess not.

thanks once again mech, guess i just wont mess with it.
