Vista Minimum Disk Space

I have an approx. 100GB disk on my HP Vista 32 laptop ( 2 GB memory ) .
What would be the minimum free disk space to allow for normal operation ?
 
Optimally you should have 10-20% free for best performance but you can go pretty low if you need to use up a lot of space. It will probably still work ok with 100 MB free.
