We'll have to see how craptastic the DRM on it is, though. If they've managed to convince the cable companies to allow it, it's likely to be pretty restrictive.

I'm sure it will be pretty draconian.
I just hope content doesn't expire (ie, after watching a recorded show, it is only available for 7 more days). I totally don't understand that one.
 
Well, it's a great development. We have to hope the cable providers will support it, since each would have to provide a unique cable card for their system, as far as I can tell.

That's what I don't understand. All I know is that if they can build it, someone can hack it, and if I buy one, I will find a way to have my fair use rights.
