Vista - Make room for SP2

With SP2 around the corner if your happy with SP1 and don't plan on going back to the released version of Vista run vsp1cln.exe (its included with sp1) to remove the backup files the installer created.

Also "Compcln.exe" for SP2 as well if you got RTM SP2 installed.

SP2 also includes a Service Pack Clean-up tool (Compcln.exe) which helps recover the hard disk space by permanently deleting previous versions of files (RTM and SP1) that are being serviced by SP2. The Service Pack Clean up tool can also be run offline while creating slipstream images to reduce the size of the image.

Nope, the intergrated version cant be uninstalled so no copies of the older files are present.
 
What about if yours is done via Windows Update. Where are these two cleaner files, or does it even matter. I still religiously use Disk Cleanup every week.
