I remember using Windows XP where it would pop up a message when you are running low on battery. It just dawned on me a few times already that Vista all of a sudden goes into hibernation in the middle of my work. Of course, I quickly realize that it must be the battery running into the 5% threshold. However, all three times, Vista never displayed a message that my battery was running low at 10%.
The advanced power options has Battery > Low battery notification > On battery: ON
The notification still does not work. I disabled the audio beep for these power options. It gets annoying sometimes when it goes into hibernation for seemingly no reason without warning.
Is there a fix or hotfix for this?
