Vista lost the correct path to user's folder

My friend's computer locked up so she shut it down. When she turned on the computer all her documents/music/pictures were gone.

I checked it out and when I click Start and point to her user's folder nothing is there.

But if I click My Computer --> C:\Users\hereName everything is there.

Any ideas how to revert it to the right path w/o cut and pasting?

try system restore or you can also tweak in the registry editor, goto: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList and look for ProfileImagePath of the current profile. For more information check here: http://joshmouch.wordpress.com...der-location-in-vista/
