Vista License question

About two years ago I did a survey for MS. I got 2 Vista Ultimate DVDs. One 32-bit, the other 64-bit. Not for resale. They each have a different product key. Is that also true on MS' end?

I want to use the 32-bit to upgrade to 7, and keep the 64-bit Vista. Is that legal and possible?

Thanks

The product keys are not specific to 32-bit or 64-bit. Either one of those keys will install either, it depends on your install media. If you have both 32-bit and 64-bit install discs, then you are good to go however you want to install them.

If MS gave you two Vista Keys, then you have two Vista licenses. You can make them any combination of x32 and x64 as long as you have the appropriate Install DVDs.
