Vista install not finishing

So I have installed a legitimate copy of Vista. I have gotten all the way through the installation, and now it won't boot up. All I am getting is the boot screen with the bar on the bottom. Bar is continually moving, just not finishing the boot. I know that my system can run Vista, before installing I downloaded the vista compatibility tool and got nothing to indicate that I could not run the OS. Does anyone have any suggestions?
