Vista Icon/Font Scaling

This would be a question aimed at the folks who have Beta 2 in their posession already. 😉

There are two questions along the same line of thought that I'm looking for answers to:

1) Does the scaling work well for icons/window fonts within windows and on the desktop?

2) Furthermore, does it also work well for the fonts within web pages?

The reason I'm asking is becuase I'm laptop shopping and would like to get a ThinkPad with the 1400x1050 14.1" display, but I'm concerned about the size of elements on the screen. I don't really like high DPI; I can't tolerate 1600x1200 even on my 21" CRT.

Thanks! 🙂

Works well for me, but I've only done very limited testing of the high dpi stuff. I've got a T43 that runs at 1400x1050 and it looks pretty nice.

So it seems to be scaling all the fonts in a browser window too?

I dont like to change the font size in the browser because it frequently screws up the layout, but just tried it and looks fine on the few sites I just pulled up.
