Hey i have a compusa near my job and they are one of the stores going out of bussiness. They have the Windows Vista home Premium edition (full not the upgrade) selling for $140.00. I know it retails for 240 bucks but i dont want vista now because of the some of the problems (software like epson print cd that comes with the r200) Im going to eventually have to switch to it in a couple of years so should i jump on it at that price or wait

For example, Academic Superstore offers its discounts to students and parents of students currently attending classes from kindergarten through college, as well as faculty and even janitorial staff of a K-12 or university.

Not hard to find a parent of a student for a deal. Toss em some cash and a lil extra for their hassles, then enjoy ! This is assuming the OP isn't a parent with a kid in school, but for anyone who is, take advantage of the deal.
