Vista hibernation restore - doesn't ask for password

Something struck me as slightly odd, Vista, when you restore from Hibernation, doesn't ask you for your account login password. At least Win7 requires you to click on your username, even without a password set.

If you don't have a password set I wouldn't imagine that it should.

But on the Vista laptop in question, it does have a password set.

It's an optional setting and I have changed it on my SOs daughter's comp.
