Vista Help Please!!

I have vista ultimate 32 installed everything has drivers all that stuff. When ever I go to open up network and sharing it freezes not the entire computer just that whats wrong and how do I fix it. I have alot of files that I need to have access to please and thank you. Its a wired connection.

As a first step, disable your onboard NIC in the motherboard's BIOS, then boot up with the NIC disabled, then restart the system, enable the NIC, and see if it gets discovered. nForce4 or nForce4 Ultra chipset, by any chance?

Nope its an intel 945gm chipset. Its a mac mini late 2007 edition.

in device manager uninstall all network devices and reboot and let windows configure them

^ Doesn't that just make Windows restore them with the same settings and not reconfigure?

No idea really... are you running a third party firewall?
