Vista Help Needed

Let me first say that I think that Vista UACC sucks!

Anyway... I installed Vista RC1 a few months back to check it out and I guess I never got around to activating it online. Lo and Behold I log in today and it tells me my copy has expired and must be activated. When I try ANY of the choices to activate it I am told I have don't have permissions to (UACC error). What kind of BS is that? Do I now have to re-install Vista to get it to work cause UACC sucks?
 
I hear you, but that's one version behind the release version of the operating system. For all I know they may not be allowing RC1 activation anymore. I'd upgrade to the release bits.
 
I just activated an RC2 install a few days ago so that still works and I would imagine they wouldn't kill RC1 either until the timelimit had expired.
