I really need some help with Vista. I just installed the 32-bit Home Premium on my HP AMD 3200 64 bit. It's been working fine, but I just installed Nero 7.7.5.1 (which is supposed to be Vista compatible). Now in my hardware management, I've got two question marks over both of my optical drives (DVD writer & CD-ROM). It gives me this error:

Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

I've been trying to do a search for the solution to this problem, but everything seems to relate to XP. Has anyone had this same problem and fixed it? I have no clue what to do or where to start (I don't feel that comfortable twiddling around with my registry).

I think I have read some other comments about Nero having problems under Vista.

How about uninstalling Nero (if you haven't), then disconnecting the drives, rebooting, shutting down, reinstall the drives and start up again. Might get Vista to reestablish the device configuration.
