I've just setup my new PC with Vista Business N (fresh install)
E4300 + Gigabyte G965P DS3 + 2Gb G.skill PC6400 + 2 x samsung 250Gb Sata drives + X1650 pro.
2 questions:
1. On startup I get a dialogue box saying thet a GUI MFC application failure has occurred and aa button to continue. It doesn't seem to be having any other effect, it's just a little irritating and I haven't been able to find any information on the web. Any ideas, it niggles me to have to click on this dialogue box every time I startup, plus I don't like the idea that something low level inthe system may not be working right.
2. I have an eMagic 3.5" USB 2.0 card reader. with a USB port and 6 card slots. Vista recognises the USB port alright, but I just can't get the card readers working. The one in my printer works just fine, but I'd like my built in one to work (possibly for ramboost use) Any ideas?
