This has been holding me back to making the jump to Vista. I use this feature in the nvidia drivers every night at dinner when I watch a show off my PC. I just double click the file, ffdshow is already set with the right filters for my LCD tv, and the video is automatically played on my LCD tv in fullscreen. No farting around with moving windows around to second displays and alt+entering and all that nonsense.

Is there any solution to this yet? Last I read nvidia can't implement this b/c of Vista's protected display path mode or something like that.. something with DRM functionality.

I've tried zoomplayer full-screen on secondary display and it never works.

Does anyone have this working?

i have no problems playing videos on my second monitor (56" mitsu rptv) via my radeon's hdtv output.

vlc, mediaplayer and winamp visualizations all work great.

I'm not familiar with ATI's drivers. I realize manually moving a media player to the second screen and doing the full screen yourself shoudl always work, my question is more for the automation that XP drivers provided where it would automatically play any video being played on the main monitor, as full screen on the secondary. So ATI vista drivers can do this?
