When I try to search for files in Vista they dont come up like usual compared to XP. As a test I tried to search for a file that I know where it exists and the name of it and when I do the search for the file it doesnt come up....How do I make the Vista search like the XP file search ?

If you do WindowsKey+F, pop down the Advanced Search thing, and change Location from Indexed Locations to Computer or whatever. Or expand what's set to be indexed to include the directories you want (but not your entire computer).
