Vista EULA for Dummies

No Apple Computers: This OS may not be installed onto a computer that also houses any version of the Mac OS operating system. It may not be installed onto a computer in the same room as a computer manufactured by Apple Computer.

LOL is this serious? Thats too funny.

Ya, I will be sticking with xp for a while, I am running vista right now and its just not worth it at all right now. The EULA is out of hand for vista imo.

For instance, once you agree to the license you are not allowed to publish benchmark results without Microsoft's permission,

Seriously? That part comes before the obvious spoof... is that part real?

I've seen that clause on a number of software packages.

BTW, the real translation of the EULA is this:
You paid $300 for the right to use this until we decide otherwise
You are responsable for living with any errors.
We are responsible to sending you a CD that can be read for the first 30 days.
There's a warrentee on the CD itself.
You can't do anything that we wouldn't like.
You can't do anything that we remotely wouldn't like.
AYBABTU, BYOL because it's going in rough and frequently.
