Vista DX10

I just installed Vista and was wondering if I still needed to install the latest DX9 updates...I thought that there would be new DX10 updates listed on Microsoft's website but it still takes you to the DX9 update page...shouldn't there be a separate download section for DX10 updates for those with DX10 installed or does the DX9 updates also update all DX10 software?

the latest DX9 update is from March 2008...do I still download this?

Yes you should install latest DX 9.0c version, especially if you game.

Do note its for all versions of Windows including Vista etc...

thanks...they really should change the name to reflect DX10 otherwise people might think it's only for DX9 users

?

Vista supports DX10, but it still supports DX9 as well. Theyre separate.

how come there are no tri-monthly DX10 updates like there are for DX9?

I thought DX10 included everything from DX9 with extra content, that's why I was confused...didn't realize they were still 2 separate programs...usually when DX is updated to a new version there is only 1 new version
