My cousin is looking for a basic system that can run 4 monitors.

If I were to install an ATI x1550 PCI-E (AERO compatible) and a Radeon 7000 (not AERO compatible), and enable them both in order to have 4 monitors, will I be able to turn AERO on? Or will the presence of Radeon 7000 automatically disable it?.

Is this kind of setup even possible in Vista(considering that Vista Catalysts don't support Radeon 7000)?

Aero wont work in that configuration, you can't have aero on some monitors and not on others.
