Vista driver for Iomega ZIP 100 IDE

I have many files on Iomega ZIP 100 disks and 3 very healthy (no click-of-death) IDE ZIP 100 drives. I just upgraded my MB to an ASUS P5Q w/ 64 bit Vista. My zip is recognized in BIOS but nada in device manager. I'd lioke to at least download the data to a folder on the HD and then transfer them to a CD.

Iomega does NOT support ZIP 100 drives for Vista. Great support!

Anyone know of any hacked drivers that I could use. Google was no help, but youse guys are usually a step ahead og Google.

Install XP onto second partition or hard drive, transfer data from Zip to DVD recordable or USB flash drive, throw Zip drives out window. Jumping up and down on them prior to throwing out window in a mixed display of celebration and consternation is optional (but recommended).

Sounds like a plan. I got a 500G Seagate for about $40.00 as part of a combo deal for the P5Q PRO from Newegg. I'll try it. But dang, I just like to have my case slots full. I'll hate to deadline those Zips!

Best way to keep using your ZIP stuff is getting an USB Zip Drive (250's work best) About $10-15 on eBay. Easier than switching to XP.
