VISTA Defrag questions

1) Can't see graphical display like in XP... Don't know what it's doing... Any way to turn on graphical representation like in XP?

2) Immediately starts "analyzing disks" when starting... Annoying since it takes 5 mins to analyze my 4 disks. Can I stop it from doing this?

Defrag typically takes a lot more time than 5 minutes...why would an extra few minutes be an issue?

Also, the graphical display was just that...a graphical display. It wasn't necesarily accurate and didn't really mean anything. A progress bar should be sufficient.

Just shedule the defrag to some hour of the morning every month. There is no real reason to run defrag anymore frequently than that, its just extra wear on the HDDs.

i don't miss it anymore than i miss seeing the garbage man doing his job. schedule and forget.

Auslogics Disk Defrag is the only one I'll use!

And, I hate defraggers... 😉
