Vista cannot see dialup modem

Asus M50VM laptop running Vista 32 bit see's the modem in device manager and will query the modem with success in device manager. Modem Agere Systems HDA Modem with lastest drivers from website.

Go to make dial up connection but it will not work because Vista says it cannot find modem.


Any ideas??? Thank you



BTW I really freakin hate Vista :frown:
