So i help out a small npo from time to time. Their current setup is that all the machines in the office (all xp home's) backup their my documents folders to one machine (xp home) at the end of each night. They recently received two new vista machines. They want to backup those folders as well. I try using the backup utility but i get the error message saying that vista cannot backup to a network share on an xp home box.
Acronis would be my favorite option but they kinda wanna see if they can find a cheaper solution at this point. Unfortunately hardware and operating systems cannot change at this time so backup software is really the only way this can be resolved. Any suggestions for a good piece of software that can back up one folder nightly and is relatively cheap?
