When Microsoft officials moved the opening ceremonies of Windows Vista up a day--from next Tuesday to next Monday--it didn't seem like that big a deal. Now we know why: Microsoft really, really wants to start selling the new operating system.
 
havent seen that anywhere else- their website still talks about a Jan 30th launch

now I'm seein it some other places- maybe just a launch @ times square? I wonder if it will be available in stores on the 29th.
