Vista Anytime Upgrade questions

1. I guess the prices aren't released yet ? I'm particularly wondering how much it will cost to use Anytime to upgrade from Home Basic to Home Premium..

2. My understanding of the EULA for Home Basic is, it will be possible to move it from one computer to another, but will the same thing apply to an Anytime upgrade from Home Basic to Home Premium ? I mean will it be possible to move both from one computer to another computer, or would the Anytime portion have to be bought again for the new computer ?

Mainly I'm interested in this upgrade path because the cheapest way I've found to get Vista, is to buy XP home on sale, then get the free($10) upgrade to Vista Home Basic.

But I want to end up with Home Premium, so Anytime seems the only way to get there.

I'm assuming I would use it for several years, which is why I think I would probably move it to a new computer some day.

I really don't have an answer for your question but that is basically what I did also, Windows XP Home Retail upgrade at CompUSA $39.99 on sale last week qualifies for the Vista Home Basic retail upgrade for free + $9.99 shipping equals Vista Home Upgrade Retail for about $50.00. You can't beat that with a stick, esp. since I have no use for Aero... on my old Dell I5100 laptop.

I haven't heard too much about the anytime upgrade prices yet??
