I'm trying to deploy about 10 new Vista machines on out network, and working with MS on this problem. I was hoping someone here might have ran into it as I am getting no where with MS.

Basically we have a '03 Server domain with all XP machines, some with offcie 03 and some with office 07. No issues whatsoever on the XP machines. Now I have the Vista machine joined to the domain but I can't talk to the exchange server at all, this means no server shares, no OWA, no outlook. Yet Vista can talk to the SDC, MOSS/MOPS Server, and also the Backup Server.

I can't even remote desktop from the Vista machine to the Exchange Server, but I can ping it just fine. The Pings are around 30ms though, compared to my desktop that is on the same switch with less than 1 ms.

Also when VPN'ing in from home with a Vista desktop I can do everything fine, no troubles. I also use Outlook 2007 at home with HTTP over RPC for a conenction.

I'm stuck goign in circles with MS thinking it is an Exchange problem, I feel it is a Vista network issue though, Idears?

Ok so after playing with wireshark it looks like our Exchange server is giving out 2 different MAC's on ARP request. The only problem is the one address I can't find anywhere on that system. There is nothing configured to that MAC addy, there is only one NIC even plugged in. The NIC that is disabled doesn't have that address either.

So besides advanced config of the NIC is there anywhere else to change a MAC addy?
