Vista and Sata drive

Im running Vista 64 on an IDE Drive and Have a Sata drive for file storage. The problem is that in Device manager i see my Sata HD but when i go to My computer it's NOT There. I have install my Motherboard driver pack for vista what am i missing? Thanks
