Vista and .cdfs

We just received a cd containing .cda files which I can play under Windows Media Player. I have to start one file and they all play. The problem is that clicking on the cd under Computer option says I have to assign the .cdfs to a program. I can't find where the relationship between filetype and program is in Vista. It is simple in my Windows 2000.
Secondly, I looked up cdfs and it seemed to be a LINUX format.
Please help and Thanks
