Vista Aero issues

Hey Guys
i just got a new laptop last night, and when i went under themes, it didnt display windows aero on it. i have Geforce 6150 vid card in the laptop, but it doesnt display ?
i have vista home premium.

Also ran system mechanic 7 on it, and after restart it totally blanked out
i had to do system recovery in order to make it work.

goto nvidia.com and install the newest drivers for your model.

Please, do not just run the System Mechanic... But you already know that.

Use the individual modules selectively, and never let it do the "Automatic Improvements". I use the spyware module and the Registry Cleaner, but I delete the keys manually, and always create the System Restore point first.

For the Aero - just press Windows key and Tab simultaneously, and then tap on the Tab while holding down the Windows key.

i fixed the aro problem...it doesn work on multiple displays...thats what i didnt know...
anyways system mechanic seriously f#$#$ its up
will the old one do the same ?
ive tried old one on vista and it doesnt do any harm

Sure it does.

Aero does run on mutiple displays (i have dual displays w/ Vista), but perhaps not with a lower end graphics solution like the onboard 6150 though?
