I am an educator and I would like to by the academic version of Vista when I get it. Is the Home Premium upgrade the only version that is available? Thanks!!!

It's usually sold through the school, but I'm sure someone around here knows of a website that does it.

I am an assistant principal at a middle school and we do not sell software. I will have to buy it online or go to a university that will sell it to me with my school ID.

A5 I see you joined anandtech only 5 days after me!!!!

In order to get academic pricing from Microsoft (I am fairly certain it is actually the same as the Volume Pricing) then you need to purchase at least 5 licenses. That is not licenses of Vista however, that is of any Microsoft Product, in any combination. So you could get 2 Vista, 2 Office, and 1 Home Server License. That will net you the Volume Licensing, or at least that is what the helpful microsoft guy told me. If you spend enough time talking to them, and on their various websites, the prices will finally be revealed to you.
