Vista 64 "Program has stopped working" Message

Just installed a fresh copy of Vista 64 on new EVGA 750i FTW mobo, E8400

System runs great however every time I quit an app I get a message "The program has stopped working" etc etc....

Close Vent
Close Fallout 3
Close Warhammer Online
Close Internet Explorer


Same thing...

Fully Updated OS with MS Updates

Newest Drivers

RAM passed tests.

Stumped it didn't do this in XP at all.

It happens to me too every now and than. It is pretty harmless. A real pain in the but seeing it all the time tho. I have Vista running on two PC's. Happens more often on one than the other. I so believe that it has a lot to do with video drivers not being 100 % compatiable.

You might want to check if you have the latest video driver updates for your card. Another thing to do is: to add those programs that do this to your DEP list. You need to right click on My Computer, go to Advance Settings than go to Performance and than DEP. Add those programs .exe's to the list. It has help me out some.
