Vista 64-bit sleep

With my new rig when I put Vista in sleep mode, it shuts down the fans and LEDs but keeps turning them on and off. I tried turning on hibernate but the keyboard won't turn it on. I found the option in the device manager but it doesn't work for hibernate. I would be OK with the fans staying on in sleep mode but don't like them turning on and off. If I can wake from keyboard, hibernate would be fine too.

i thought that you have to use power on switch for hibernate.

power led goes on and off for most system in sleep mode.

When i tried the on switch, the system didn't come back up. I had to hold it down until it shut off and then turn it on. I have the Antec 900 case so all the fans have LEDs on them and when it turns on, it makes a bit of noise. It turns on and off about every 5min so it's pretty annoying.
