Also anyone have the Nostromo 52 game controller working with Vista 64.....what about the HP laserjet 1022.....these are the only 2 I'm concerned about? I would assume all the Penryn class processors work with Vista 64 as I am upgrading in a few months.

boohoo, didnt do my research and installed vista32 just a couple of days ago!

I changed a few things in and outside of control panel, installed some programs and drivers. Whilte not overwhelming, the burden of doing it over I could live without. Is there a safe and clean way to switch to 64bit?

Also, the only piece of hardware I might be concerned with is EMU 1212M. It is yet to be officially supported in vista32 and it worked... I wouldnt be surprised if it did in 64bit.

I just installed Vista64 from Vista32 today. I can't help with the laserjet, but the n52 has Vista64 drivers. So far everything I had before still works, but I still need to check out my scanner, and printer, and I also have a few more programs that need to be installed.

Edit:
Go to belkin's site for the latest drivers, and check out the upcoming n52te. It looks a little gimmicky, but I'm curious to try it out :^)

I thought I was gonna get it done quick and easy and promptly reinstalled from my dvd, only to find out that the x86 and x64 versions are on separate DVDs

Just finished downloading x64 and now its doing the CRC checking, woohoo 🙂

Oh, for the inquisitive minds of course I am doing it through MSDN (nobody said anything about pirating 😉)
