Vista 64 >> 32bit

Hey guys,

Ok so i have Vista 64 on my computer now (and it works fine, great OS i think) but am considering switching to vista 32 bit for one reason: ipod touch. its a pretty weak reason, but not being able to synch my ipod to my computer due to apple being slack ass sucks.
Anyways, can i just grab my vista 32 cd and simply reinstall it as a 32bit OS to overwrite the 64 bit? Or do i have to reformat? If i can just reinstall over, i have 2 questions:

1) Would all my apps/games ect work fine? I dont think i run anything specifically in 64bit mode (though some games are installed to have that option to run 64bit)

2) I have 4 Gigs of ram now, would that mess everything up and i get the BSOD or would it just register the ram as 3gigs instead? (ram is 1gb x4)

Thanks alot

You would have to do a fresh clean installation of Vista X32. There is no migration path between X32 and X64 or vice versa.

All programs would also have to be reinstalled.
