I have used xp pro sp2 for a while now and find it perfectly find except for interfacing my xbox360 w/ my PC.

I plan on using either Vista 32bit (i have a AMD64 chip, but im not hearing anything good about the 64bit operating system) or MCE 2005.

What would you guys recommend presently?

I have MCE 2005, If you're going to upgrade anyway, get the 64bit version of Vista, It should be the most widely installed version of windows, as HD-DVDs and Blu-ray players have to have the 64bit version to run naitively. I believe you have to have 64bit support for cable card support.

Moved almost every desktop/laptop here at the house to Vista Ultimate, working great with the 360's as extenders.

i have AMD64, but i really havnt heard of a use for it.

Btw, i was using tversity to stream and it seemed like everything was moving in slow motion when i was streaming high quality XVIDs. That is not the case with vista right?
