Vista 32 or 64 for Primarily Gaming?

Hi gang. Which version of Vista is best for gaming? I play shooters and RTS mostly on my current ancient rig...like BF2, C&C3, and expect to play the new FPSs coming out soon too once I put the new PC together. Already aware of Vista hardware compatibility issues and new build will basically be all new stuff -- and all SATA. Probably going to use the mobo's onboard sound too rather than buying separate sound card. I'm leaning toward the 64-bit version if I can get away with it, fyi. Is this the best choice or should I play it safe with Vista 32 ?

Thx in advance.

I have not had any game compatiblity issues that could'nt be sloved with runing in compatability mode XPSP2. Most run fine in the 64 bit environment. SLI seem to weird out some on 3d mark 06.

I have a dozen or so Steam Games and and retail like, Quake 4/3, X3 Reunion, FEAR, COD 2/1, CnC3,Generals/Zero Hour,Far Cry.

I had more trouble finding anti virus and firewall compatibility than games.

*edit* oops forgot STALKER, currently dowloading the ID pak from STEAM too.

Sorry for the short answer, but this has been asked twenty zillion times.

Do a search if you want more details, but get Vista 64.

32-bit is a dead future, especially with gaming in mind, as the RAM limitations of 32-bit are very nigh, if not already here.
