Vista 32 bit to 64bit

After a problem with a video card and a mobo upgrade Ive had to reinstall my Vista 32 (that I just bought a few weeks ago) 3 times in 3 weeks.

My question is can I use that license for 64 bit Vista? I have almost no time invested in this Install and to be honest I've been using it on a laptop (beefy one) for months and don't really like it that much.

Hmm, I don't hate it but I want to go with more memory and I do game a lot I guess. I also like to watch Blu Ray and HD DVD via HDMI through an HD3870.

As long as the license will work, and I will be removing the 32bit one, then I see very little in the way of negatives. All my hardware, aside from printer which didn't work in 32 either, should be good to go and I'd like to use more memory that I have lying around.

Any thoughts?

I read the Licensing KB and it looks like I need an upgrade License... I bought the retail Vista 32 is this going to work?
