Vista: 32 bit or 64 bit?

Hi,

I'm looking into purchasing Vista for my new PC. Is it worth going to 64 bit? Or are there too many problems with drivers right now? Im getting one of the 2 processors:

If I stick with 32 bit, will I be severely bottlenecked?
 
My other question is if it is just work going with XP home right now and upgrading to Vista later. I'm hearing a lot of problems with Vista.
