Vista 32 and 64

Ok... here is the deal.. when I bought vista Ultimate, the box contained both 64-bit & 32-bit sources (i.e. DVDs)

I have installed 64-bit Windows Vista Ultimate on my main desktop rig.

But since there is just one licence key, I wonder wat would happen if i install 32-bit Vista Ultimate on my Laptop, using the same key?

Would my primary install be blacklisted or reduced in function (like that nag screen or something)??

You'll be able to install it, but once you go online to activate, you'll have problems. That's because ...

ok, i just activated it.... Haven't faced any problems during activation. However I haven't turned on the desktop yet, so have no idea how the primary install is doing.....

What you're doing is stealing, you've already stated you dont have a license to do this.

If I never planned to buy a legitimate copy of Vista, its stealing... I accept.

However I did this just as an experiment to see what happens... My second copy of Vista Ultimate x64 is on its way. Since I am not in the Americas, I can't buy online. I have already bought it from my retailer and all that's left is for the box to arrive at my home, which contains the DVDs (which i already have) and the Key....

Is there is something wrong in a little curiosity and trying out stuff like this?

Discussing circumventing licenses is not allowed here.

I dont think I am discussing about circumventing license activation. I am merely trying to find out the outcomes of activating on different machines with the same key. If I had posted anything about doing it and about how to get away with it, then I can accept what you say. I am not a pirate nor am i advocating piracy here.
