VISITORS TO SALES - Conversion / Marketing Ideas - Help Me Come Up With Some!

My boss says I'm supposed to come up with 6 ideas for increasing our visitors to sales conversion ratio by 2pm today...

It's 11:43 righ tnow and I have no ideas. Anyone have any good ones? Or any at all?

As some background, we sell custom embroidered and custom screenprinted shirts, bags, uniforms etc., our website is www.LogoSoftwear.com

Anyone have any ideas on how to increase sales / conversions and / or how we could improve the website?

I'd like an all black shirt. Other than that, I'd consider your company, if I had a reason to. Your site looks fine.

I'm not sure everyone knows what you mean by "visitors to sales conversion ratio".

Anyway...

Right on the home page, have a prominent link to a page that gives people a reason to want your products. Maybe some visitors are just considering ordering customized items - take that opportunity to talk them into it.

You offer a lot of different products, but you organize them by the type of product. What if a visitor wants something for a tradeshow giveaway or for an employee award? Can you have a way of taking the visitor to a group of products that might be appropriate for a particular use that the visitor selects from? ("I need items for..." tradeshow prize [under $20] [$20-$50] / employee award [under $20] [$20-$50] / better looking proposals / ...)

For what it's worth, your site is nice looking but has an above-average number of typos and in some cases you string too many things together instead of using separate lines.

One example:
Take advantage of the Intro Special. Order 5 Denim Shirts, 6 Polos, 9 Caps, 12 Shortsleeve T-Shirts, 9 Longsleeve T-Shirts, or 5 Crewneck Sweatshirts for $180 and the custom embroidery logo setup is free. Or, order 9 Longsleeve T-Shirts or 12 Shortsleeve T-Shirts and the custom screenprinting logo setup is free. That's a savings of at least $95!
That's too hard to read.

Run a special where customers who order before Christmas will have setup fees waived forever on the custom logo they order now. You need to create urgency. And for them to take advantage of it, they'll have to reorder something anyway.

Looks like you do custom logo apparel. Have you tried hitting up businesses to do their company shirts, etc.?
