I'm off to New York in mid December for 3 days. Never been before. Can anyone suggest some great 'must do' things.

If you have time, go see "De La Guarda" - an off-off-broadway production.. (think somewhere between "stomp," a dance club, and a trapeze act, and you've got the gist. It's wild.

tight! i went there for xmas and new years for y2k!

cool ur going for xmas! aha rockfeller center for sure! don't take the taxi's...wait u have to...u have to get the experience of those taxi drivers....they're crazy...probably the best cab drivers in the world...subway system is 2nd to non..get an all day pass and go all over NY...it's a huge city but i handled that little island easily by just using the subway system...it was lotsa fun....i say just go around the city w/ the subway...be ur own tour guide...and when someone else posts something like this, u can advise him/her

of course goto an MTV live taping and stuff...i got to see goo goo dolls....

U MUST!! U MUST EAT PIZZA!!! from those small local private places of course...sooo GOOD...i couldn't believe it...best pizza anywhere...

book all ur broadway tix! gotta watch da stomp...(sp??) ..the best...les mis is too long....but great nontheless..and u have to watch at least one small production...those hardworking trying-to-break-out lower actors act their hearts out ....

well, my experience in NY was great ...loved it...i would go there again if i wanted...oh yeah go on the tour of UN and also of course...empire state biulding...(sigh skyline isn't the same after 9.11 also goto the statue of liberty..of course....in the stairs of the empire state...(pretty biulding up close) write ur name and date on the walls in the stairways....hehe i did... u have to also get bootleg movies and fake rolexes ahahahaha lol...and try to get on those NBC tapings....

lots to say..aha well, have fun dude! for sure u will have fun....have updates dude! i wanna hear about NY...dying to go back now that u mention it..
