UPDATE: Went and came back...

Boston was alot of fun

walked around Harvard Square, saw the USS constitution, climbed up the 290 stairs to the top of bunker hill memorial, visited fenway park...

the best were the micro-breweries I visited. One I went to right outside fenway- boston beerworks. Had great food and the beer was unbelievably awesome!

hey guys,

I'll be spending the weekend in Boston and would like to hear some suggestions on what to see/do. I'm into historical sites and military so something like the USS Constitution is a primary example of what I'd like to see....

I'd also really like to treat myself to an awesome restaurant saturday night... something Italian... spinach tortellini comes to mind ;)

I'd really appreciate some suggestions!
thx

P.S. I'll be leaving my Yankees stuff at home :)

I've been to Lo Contes a couple times, its an Italian place in the North End on Salem Street. Kinda $ but good.

Yeah, the duck tours are on of my favorite things in Boston.

Also, go to see Blue Man Group!!! They were in the Charles Theatre when I went to see them a few weeks ago.

If you're into history you'll find plenty to do. That whole town is history.

I haven't been there in 12 years or so but I remember going to a Computer Museum if it is still there. It was pretty interesting for us nerdy folks. Seems like it was down close to where the Boston Tea Party was.

Oh, also, go tour the Sam Adams beer factory.:D

whatever you do, don't get plastered and pass out laying in a hedge in the middle of downtown, unless you have mad skillz too and can manage to pick up a hot chick while unconscious :D

You want to go to an Italian restuarant? I dunno about you, but when I go to a new place, I want to taste the "local" cuisine. To that end, my friend, a native Bostoner recommended the Union Oyster House. It's a little bit touristy, although it seems like locals do go there, but they have the stuff I think of when I think of Boston - Chowder, Oyster Stew, etc.

This same friend also swears by the Duck Boat tours as being great fun.

I enjoyed the aquarium. Fanuil Hall is not that great. I didn't get to see much else during my short stay. Perhaps more next time.

You should update your thread title and your OP so ppl don't keep offering you suggestions.
