Visiontek Xtasy X800 XT $400.00 at Micro Center!

Micro Center's 20% Off Sale is good on all Visiontek video cards so with a regular price of $499.99 20% off gives you an effective price of $400.00. This is the non-PE (Platinum Edition) of the card, so the card's default settings at 500 MHz core and 500 MHz memory.

That's a whopper of a deal for this card, which comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty from Visiontek.

Sale prices are good through January 16th so hurry. That Xtasy X800 XT for $400.00 is a smokin' deal!

Just got one for $399 from the one in NY. $399 + tax. Still a good deal. XTs I've seen go up as much as $600.

hmm I see. would this include PCI-e model?

seems they only make AGP models and I need PCI-e 🙁

Almost all computer parts (Motherboard, CPU, Video Card, Hard Drive, etc... not speakers, mice...) are 20% off. I didn't check if they had any PCIe cards. You'll have to go ask an employee and then get the card from Customer Service. They only have the sub-$200 cards out on display. The PCIe model should be 20% off though if they have it.

hmm. well I may call and ask. Will they tell me? I dont want to go down there if I dont have to cause im not feeling so great 🙁

hmm mines out of stock 😛 and the guy I dont belive knew what PCI-e was so I dunno if they actually get those in or not. Ill ride down there next weekend and find out 🙂

oddly though the normal selling price for the x800xt in the store is 399 :Q

Yes, they are real nice about returns - in case you didnt want to actually spend 400$ becuase you forgot you had rent to pay or whatever.

There seem to have been several nice deals from MicroCenter lately. There's one about 85 miles away from me (in Houston) when I'm at school...may have to check it out one of these days.

I went. It's a great store. They actually knew about computer stuff, lol. It's a pretty big store like Circuit City but is dedicated solely to computer parts and accessories (maybe a few digital cameras).
