Hey guys, another topic from me.. I shoulda just combined them all I guess into one.. :)

The stock cooler on my 4600 is a bit loud. I couldn't find any specs on exactly what rpm/cfm/db the current setup puts out so I'm kinda at a loss on which cooling solution to choose. I'd like to stay in the $15-18 range for a cooler. I have never overclocked the card and currently don't have any plans to do so.

I was looking at a few different choices on svc.com. Can anyone recommend any of this or perhaps something else to fit my needs. Cutting down on noise is the main thing, but I'd like to keep from having and cooling issues with the card also.

Yeh, I saw that one.. kinda pricey... but I might spring for it since it'll definitely be real quiet.

Well think of it this way: since it has no moving parts it should last you a very long time, so in the long run it may prove cheaper than replacing noisy or worn out fans on a regular basis. Best thing is you'll still be able to use it even after you upgrade to another card. :D

The Thermaltake copper cooler isn't exactly quiet. If you want it, I'll sell you mine for $5 plus stamps (only thing it's missing is the thermal tape for the RAM sinks and the cheap paste packet they throw in there). The thing sounds like a hairdryer to me though.
