can't sleep w/ the whirring

suggestions for a a cheap vid card fan replacement please

I've had to replace the fan on my Visiontek 4200 twice. Unfortunately, with the heatsink glued onto the chip, I didn't want to risk pulling it off. So, both times I've bought 50mm fans, cut them out of their cages, spliced the connector, and glued back to the existing heatskink.

thanks man, cos i was thinking of putting some vegetable oil/ vaseline to try to stop the whirring last nite
