i had a card go bad on me (Gf3 Ti200) once and they let me RMA it. Who ever packaged the return sent me 4 brand new in sealed box Ti200's. That was really cool when I got it.

hehe. betcha that RMA guy was riding out his 2-week notice pink slip.

the BK news broke about 2-3 weeks after i mailed in my $30 rebate to New Rochelle. i figured it was a lost cause, but they actually paid it about a month ago.

That warranty was for the life-time of the company. ;)

Wal-Mart has the 128meg version of the card for $150 clearenced, and they will take anything back.

I thought about getting it but, you can get a different brand with a warranty for that much and thought otherwise.

I saw that also but I had already got one from Best Buy. I told them about it and they pricematched it!

I read in another thread/forum about someone a couple weeks ago trying to get a RMA number from them to return something. The guy that answered the phone said he would call him back in 24 hours with a RMA number but didn't call him back. The guy calls back 2 weeks later to try and get the RMA number again, now nobody answers the phones any more. I would be cautious, I own 2 of there cards but if they ever break you might be screwed.

The Visiontek card Wal-Mart is selling locally is the "SE" model, which is a stripped down version of the ti4200 without TV and some video functions, I do believe.

I bought mine from Wal Mart about a month after GF4 was released. It has TV-out but no DVI.
